Basic Requirements

All Recruits must Be 16 years of age. Once 18 years of age, be able to legally purchase a firearm. Conform to US Army grooming standards.




Minimum Uniform/Gear Requirements (6 Months)
HBT Uniform OR Wool Uniform
HBT cap OR Jeep Cap OR 1943 Hat
Belt (Pants)
Field Jacket (M 1943 Preferred, Tanker, Mackinaw, M 1941 accepted)
Double Buckle Boots (preferred, French OK) OR Rough-Out Shoes with Leggings
M1 Steel Helmet (Correctly painted for WWII)




Minimum Uniform/Gear Requirements (12 Months)
All of the above PLUS
Suspenders (M1936, M1944, M1945 all acceptable)
Cartage Belt or M1936 Pistol Belt with Carbine pouches (Depending on weapon being carried)
Canteen, Cup, and Cover
First Aid Pouch
Bayonet M1905EI OR M3 Trench Knife
BOTH HBT AND Wool Uniforms
Musette Bag, Gas Mask bag, or GP Bag
M1910 Pack, M1928 Pack, or M1944 Pack
Entrenching Tool ('t' handle not accepted)
Firearm, M1 Garand (Preferred) M1 Carbine or other weapon OK if approved by Leadership




Recommended Uniform/Gear
Sleeping bag raited to 30 degrees and GI cover
Wool Blankets (2)
Military Style cot
Wool Over coat (Not OD Green)
Wool gloves (OD Green)
Wool Socks
Wool Scarf
Shoe Pac boots or Rubber boot covers
M 1943 Field Pants
M 1943 Hood AND/OR M 1941 Hood
GI Mess kit and GI silverware
OD green or Brown towel
Set of white sheets




Dress Uniform (not required but preferred for formal functions)
Four Pocket Blouse (Preferred) OR IKE jacket (Unit patch and proper disk pins must be worn)
Overseas Hat with 410th Regimental Crest
Khaki necktie
M 1936 Wool shirt and Wool pants (Dress Quality)




All members are strongly encouraged to continually add to their collection, especial any items which would benefit the unit at Living History displays.
